Call For Papers

International Conference on Applied and Engineering Mathematics (ICAEM’18) is being organized under the auspices of HITEC University, Museum Road Taxila, Pakistan. The conference will provide a platform for the community of applied and engineering mathematics to meet and to exchange ideas. ICAEM is being sponsored by the IEEE and is listed on the IEEE conference calendar. All submitted papers will be under peer review and accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library vide ISBN 978-1-5386-5459-0. It is a searchable digital library dedicated to hosting and delivering full text access to the world's highest quality technical literature in many areas of science and technology. Extended version of accepted/selected papers will be forwarded for publication in the special issues of appropriate Journals. The best paper among those accepted for publication will also be given the BEST PAPER AWARD.

Submission Guidelines

Paper submission is now open. SUBMIT YOUR PAPER .
Authors will be required to signup before submitting a paper. Please upload a PDF version of your paper for review. Authors must select one or more topic areas applicable to the paper.

Submission Process

Once a paper is submitted to the OpenConf conference system it will undergo blind review by three peers. Following the review of submitted papers, successful authors will be invited to attend and present their work at ICAEM'18.

The 3MT Competition

To promote collaboration and create healthy competition among the PhD students, ICAEM’18 will also hold the Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT). The 3MT is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland in Australia in 2008. The competition is open to PhD students who are in the research phase of their PhD. Any participant who has submitted the thesis for examination is not eligible to apply. Each participant is required to present his/her research in three minutes. Participants are only allowed to use a single slide powerpoint presentation without animations, transitions, sounds and video. The participants will be judged by an expert panel on the basis of their presentation skills and not on their research topic.
The winner will be awarded with a certificate and a cash award.

Professor Russell Davies is an Honorary Distinguished Professor at the School of Mathematics in Cardiff University, UK. Title of talk will be announced later.

Professor Shaher Momani
Professor Shaher Momani is the Dean of Academic Research at the School of Science in the University of Jordan. Title of talk will be announced later.

Professor Fiazud Din Zaman
Professor Fiazud Din Zaman is with the Department of Mathematical Sciences at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. Title of talk will be announced later.

Professor Talaibek Imanaliev
Professor Talaibek Imanaliev is in the Applied Mathematics and Informatics Department in the American University of Central Asia, Kyrgyz Republic. He is a recognized chess player at the national level. Title of talk will be announced later.

Professor Syed Malek Fakar Duani Syed Mustapha
